Leonid Burlak is a Ukrainian cinematographer best known for his camera work in Stanislav Hovorukhin's picture "The Meeting Point Cannot Be Changed" (1979), which was filmed in Odessa. He has made more than 40 films and about 20 television films. He worked with such directors as Petro Todorovsky, Grigory Pozhenyan, Valentin Kozachkov, Vadim Lysenko and others. As a director in 1990, he directed the short film "W-same-li" / (in Russian) "Ry-cha-gi" based on the story of the same name by Alexander Yashin. Member of the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine (1969). Honored Worker of Arts of Ukraine (1994), Cavalier of the Order of Merit (III degree) (2009).
