Short Film Contest "Once Upon a Time in Odessa"

To mark the 225th anniversary of the founding of Odessa, in order to support and promote cinema in the city, the Short Film Feature Film Competition Once Upon a Time in Odessa has been announced!

We invite producers, directors, professional filmmakers of any age category, as well as amateur creative teams to participate in the Contest!

We look forward to some exciting stories related to our city!

Contest Prize Fund:

I prize (first place) - 250 thousand UAH

II prize (second place) - 150 thousand UAH

III prize (third place) - 100 thousand UAH

The winner's films will be included in the holiday program September 1-2, 2019 to show residents and guests of the city.

Terms of the Contest:

Contest entries are accepted from March 27, 2019 to 6:00 pm on August 1, 2019.

Between August 15 and September 2, 2019, the Expert Commission announces the winners.

Competition requirements:

1. Feature films, up to 20 minutes.

2. Relevance to the topic: “Once in Odessa”.

3. The copyright for the film belongs to the applicant for the Contest. Participants who have submitted other work may be disqualified at any stage of the competition.

4. Films in state or other language with subtitles in state language are accepted.

The Competition does not accept:

1. Movies that do not meet the technical parameters of the competition.

2. Movies containing elements of violence, racial, religious or national intolerance.

To participate in the Contest, you must:

1. Fill in the application form, which can be downloaded from the link.

2. Email: film.office.odessa@gmail.com a completed Application form, photo by the director and a link to an online resource to download a copy of the movie in MPEG-4 format.
